Advocacy and Representation

A Voice for Social Work

BCASW heightens the profile and visibility of social work by representing the interests and concerns of our profession within the broader community. As a member, you have a voice in the development of policy papers, briefs, and presentations on a wide range of issues affecting the practice of social work or social policy.

Work with us to address important social issues, promote our profession, advocate for our community, and plan professional development initiatives. One way to have your voice heard is by becoming active on a BCASW Practice Interest Group.

Check out our News section for past and current media releases and reports.
