Annual General Meeting
The 2026 AGM, Thursday June 11, 6:00 PM, will be online via Zoom. The AGM will be preceded by a Continuing Professional Development session from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by the formal AGM from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The Directors of BCASW propose changes to the BCASW Bylaws. BCASW’s fiscal year is the calendar year. The annual general meeting was traditionally held in the fall to coincide with continuing professional development events. In 2024, the AGM was moved to the spring as BCASW has capacity for online meetings and can report to members closer to year end.
Members and non-members are welcome to attend the AGM. Only members can vote. BCASW provides an opportunity at the AGM for members to identify issues and recommend action for consideration by the Board of Directors. To allow for informed debate, the BCASW Board developed a process for submitting resolutions.
