This webinar explores current, evidence-based approaches to understanding and treating Borderline Personality Disorder through a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented lens. Participants will examine common myths, reduce stigma, strengthen therapeutic relationships, and gain practical strategies grounded in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to improve engagement, clinical formulation, and treatment outcomes.
PRESENTER
Baylie is the owner of Chiron Centre for Mental Health & Trauma Inc. and specializes in treating Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Complex PTSD (CPTSD). As someone with lived experience, she founded BC's first BPD peer support group in 2010 and went on to co-found the BPD Society of BC in 2012, where she currently serves as President, to address gaps in care and reduce stigma. Baylie holds a Master of Clinical Social Work from UBC Okanagan and is comprehensively trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), including DBT-SUD, DBT-A, and RO-DBT. With over 15 years of experience, she provides compassionate, trauma-informed therapy that empowers clients to build meaningful, lasting change.
