Description of Practice
Based in Dawson Creek, BC, I offer in-person and virtual counselling for children, youth, adults, and families. My practice is rooted in anti-oppressive values and grounded in gentleness, curiosity, and respect. I work from an understanding of how trauma can shape relationships, sense of self, and meaning-making, and nurture a space that feels supportive and welcoming. Sessions move at a steady, compassionate pace, with space to explore boundaries, coping, grounding, emotional regulation, and ways of navigating distress with greater steadiness and self-compassion.
I support individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, childhood sexual abuse, sexual violence, and gender-based violence, as well as those navigating relational wounds and challenges with connection. My practice draws from training in Somatic Experiencing (SE Beginner I–III), EMDR Basic Training, CBT, DBT, and EFFT.
I invite you to connect for a complimentary 15-minute phone call to ask questions, share what brings you to counselling, and explore how I may support you.
